Label the heart
What better way to learn about the heart? This is the main muscle that works during physical activity, no matter how intense the exercise is! This labeling quiz only asks for 9 of the major parts of the heart, so we are starting with the basics! The word bank is above the heart diagram; drag the word into the box. Once all 9 parts are labeled, hit check, and see how many you got correct! Be careful when labeling though, as the left side of the heart is actually on the right side in the diagram! Weight training terminology
This website link does a terrific job at explaining a large majority of the concepts we will be covering in our weight training class. These vocabulary terms are set up in a flashcard method, but can be expanded upon through using the "test" or "scatter" option. The more familiar with these terms we all become, the more confident we will all be inside of the gym. Additionally, these words can be used all throughout your life, as you are working towards an active and healthy lifestyle! These terms will become increasingly important as they correspond with an assignment near the end of the semester, where you must create a weight training program. These words are expected to be included, from specificity to trapezius!
